Warranty

Sleep better with peace of mind

Sprout mattresses are all covered with a Full 10-Year Warranty.

We’re confident that our mattresses are built to last. That’s why we can offer our customers a 10-Year Limited Warranty at no extra charge, with every mattress they purchase.

No fine print needed; here are the details.

We know that our handcrafted mattresses are made with care, hence we offer warranty against any defect in workmanship or material (other than cover and handles).

The warranty extends to the original purchaser only and does not indicate the useful life of the set, which will vary according to the use and care of the product.

Over the next ten years, the sleep set may experience normal wear & tear, not covered by the warranty.

All Sprout sleep sets are engineered to conform to your personal comfort and support needs. Body signatures of two inches or less are normal, with premium comfort-level sleep sets, and are not considered a manufacturing defect.

Routine flipping and rotation of your mattress will extend the life of your sleep set and will keep your warranty valid. Handles on the mattress are meant to position it, and are NOT to be used to flip or rotate the mattress. In the unlikely event that a service resulting from a defect, is required, during the warranty period, all you need to do is contact your authorized Sprout retailer.

Please have your original purchase receipt available for the retailer’s inspection. Your mattress and/or box will be repaired or replaced (at Sprout’s option) at no charge, barring the transportation costs. Repair of the mattress and/or box does not extend the duration of this warranty, nor does it begin a new warranty period. Any and all implied warranties on this product shall not exceed in duration of the term of warranty.

Maximize your mattress’ life with these simple steps.

Expect an adjustment period for both you and your mattress. Most people need at least a month to adjust their bodies to a new sleep surface. Considering how long we spend in bed in a 24 hour period, it’s no wonder that our muscles and joints have a memory of how to find the most comfortable spot on the mattress. It may take time to get used to the feel of your new mattress, so get yourself comfortable and try to enjoy the new feel.

Buying a mattress protector is highly recommended. This would not only extend the life of your mattress, but also protect it from stains, and maintain the cleanliness of your bed.

Always carry your mattress flat on its side. Never bend your mattress more than 20 degrees. This could damage the coil system and other components, significantly reducing the life and comfort of the mattress, and void your warranty.

We strongly discourage using your old mattress foundation. Every hand-crafted mattress is unique, and is made with an equally supportive type of foundation. The mattress and boxspring work hand-in-hand to give you the type of sleep you desire and extend overall life of the mattress. Makeshift solutions like using a board under your mattress will be extremely detrimental to the life of your bed and quality of sleep. Using an incompatible foundation may also void your warranty. Consult Sprout or your salesperson regarding the type of boxspring best suited for your mattress.

If you prefer using a frame, it must provide a strong & stable foundation for your bed. A queen or a king-sized bed, for example, must have a centre-support system – at least one (1) centre-support for a queen and two (2) for a king. A proper frame will prevent the mattress from sagging and keep your warranty valid.

You may notice body signatures after having slept on your mattress for a while. The time-honoured comfort layers naturally allow for moulding or body signatures. This is deemed to be normal and is not a cause for concern. However, in order to keep them from becoming too deep, we highly recommend you rotate and flip your mattress on a regular basis. For the first 3-6 months, the mattress should ideally be rotated every 2 weeks, and thereon, once a month for the subsequent period. To avoid body signatures from appearing too early, preventative rotation and flipping of the mattress is recommended.

Clean your mattress on a regular basis, by vacuuming it every 6 months. Drying / Steam-cleaning is NOT recommended as it may irreversibly damage the materials and fills used in the construction. As a general rule, do not let your mattress get wet, as it may void your warranty in certain cases. If the mattress accidentally gets wet, stand it to dry.

The mattress is not designed for standing or jumping. Doing so could cause serious damage, and effectively void your warranty. Smoking in bed is not a good idea for many reasons, one of which include voiding your warranty.

Finally, we strongly recommend you KEEP THE LAW TAG of the mattress. This is not a legal requirement, you will not be committing a crime by removing it. Nevertheless, the law tag contains important manufacturer-specific information, and it WILL BE REQUIRED (along with your purchase receipt) in the event you file for a warranty claim.
